Frequently Asked Questions

How long does delivery take?

​

Orders are fulfilled every work day. As each order is placed, we check stock availability, pick it and pack it ready for dispatch. If there are items ordered that are currently out of stock, we will contact you to offer you an alternative or wait for stock of the missing item to be replenished. 

Orders and payments received before 10am Monday - Wednesday will be shipped out on the same day. 

Orders containing fresh products such as boerewors or bacon will not be shipped out on Thursdays or Fridays unless you have selected an express delivery option which does come at an additional fee. If an order is sent out on a Thursday or Friday, there is a strong possibility that the order will remain in the couriers warehouse until the next working day.

How do I pay?

When placing your order online you can now pay with any credit or debit card. In addition to this you can also pay with PayPal. Once we have received your cleared payment we will ship your order. Please do note that no order will be dispatched until payment is received in full.

 

Shipping Costs (RETURNS)

Costs of returning the goods to Saffa’s Deli are for the account of the customer unless agreed to by Saffa’s Deli.

Are our biltong products Halal or kosher?

No, our products are not Halal or Kosher

Where is Saffa's Deli situated?

Saffa’s Deli is situated at Via 20 Setembre 24, Arona.

This is not a retail store, but instead a collection point upon appointment.

Returns Policy

​

You can return the goods within 7 days after dispatch. 

​

To qualify for a return, the product;

  1. Must not be frozen goods eg. boerewors, bacon etc

  2. Must be unopened

  3. Must be in its original packaging

  4. Must be within it's "Best Before" or "Expiry" date range

  5. Must have been delivered with the preceding 7 days.

 

Once your returned order is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item in good order. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment.

Can I order if I don't live in Italy. 

​

Absolutely! We are able to deliver outside of Italy throughout Europe, however different shipping rates do apply. Please pop us an email / Whatsapp or give us a call and we will sort you out!
